Wraparound Care

 

Breakfast Club

  • Our Breakfast Club opens daily from 7.30am and runs until 8.50am, when Breakfast Club staff take children to their classrooms. 
  • Breakfast offered is a choice of cereals, fruit, crumpets, yoghurt and a selection of fruit juices. 
  • Children have the option in taking part in lots of different activities such as art, crafting, construction, painting, role play, colouring and in the warmer months children go outside after breakfast to play team games and take part in sports activities. 
  • Cost per day is £3.50 

 

Lunch Time Clubs

All free of charge 

  • Monday-Art Club
  • Tuesday-Choir
  • Wednesday- Lego Club
  • Thursday-Number Blocks and Alpha Blocks 
  • Friday-French Club 

 

After School Clubs 

  • Mondays we offer Phonics Club and Reading Club
  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays we offer Gym Kids
  • Wednesday we offer Multisports at £3 per child

 

Lunch Time

  • Lunch time runs from 12-1pm each day
  • Children all eat their lunch together in the hall with their class
  • Children can choose from school dinners or sandwiches from home 
  • Our catering is delivered by Derbyshire County Council and the menu is also set by them
  • All special diets and allergies are catered for

Snack Time

  • All children have a healthy snack daily, provided free of charge
  • This could include apples, bananas, pears, tomatoes, sugar snap peas, raisins or satsumas. 
  • Children are encouraged to bring in their water bottles from home so that they can have access to their drink throughout the school day. 

The School Day

  • Gates open at 8.30am and close at 8.45am
  • Please make sure you arrive on time as there are learning opportunities between 8.30 and 8.45am such as morning work tasks and challenges. 
  • Lunch time is 12-1 for all children 
  • Home time is at 3.10pm. Our school gates open at 3pm.
