Our Ethos

We believe that every child has the fundamental right to an excellent education and at The Green we want the best for every child, everyday. As a staff team, we love every child that we take care of in school and we pride ourselves on developing and nurturing excellent relationships with our children to be able to both support and challenge them when needed. 

Everything we do at The Green is underpinned by our 8 values: Pride, responsibility, perseverance, enjoyment, aspiration, creativity, confidence and kindness. Every week, we discuss our values as a whole school and talk about how we show those values both in school and at home and how important they are in developing us as little people growing into bigger people in an ever changing world.

As a staff, we are passionate about creating learning opportunities for our children that are engaging, memorable and aspirational, recognising that each of us has an impact on the future of every child. Our shared goal is to always put the children first, enabling them to be life-long learners, inquisitive about the world and aspirational about the role they can play in it.
