Domestic abuse is rarely a one-off incident, but a pattern of power and control over you. It is any threatening behaviour, violence or abuse between adults who are or have been in a relationship, or between family members. It can be psychological, physical, sexual, financial or emotional abuse.

  • The Elm Foundation
    The Elm Foundation is a specialist and experienced provider of Domestic Abuse services. We were established in 1985 when we opened our first refuge. We are a local charity, which offers a range of services appropriate to individual need to help and support men, women and children who are affected by Domestic Abuse.

  • CORE
    Helping victims to cope and recover from their experience is at the heart of Derbyshire’s community safety work. We know that different people will need different help depending on their circumstances and this website has been created to provide a single route to support services and the expanding opportunities to heal. CORE is here for all victims of crime, delivering access to a range of cope and recovery services and specialist counselling.
